To kick things off and get the dust off the keyboard, I’d love for us to share a "Small Win" from your district or classroom this week.
I’ll start: I recently witnessed a group of kindergarteners working through a Building Thinking Classrooms task involving "lizards basking in the sun on warm rocks." Seeing those five-year-old children collaborating at vertical surfaces to navigate the decomposition of 10, was a powerful reminder that even our youngest learners are capable of deep mathematical thinking when we give them the space to do it!
